Mweya Safari Lodge is enfolded by the magnificent Rwenzori Mountains which are also referred to as the Mountains of the Moon and situated on a peninsula inside Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the Eastern Direction lie the guardians of the birthplace of mankind i.e the Great Rift Valley hills detached from the Mountains of the Moon by the winding Kazinga Channel where water pours continuously into two enormous lakes i.e Lake George and Edward.
