Have breakfast at the camp then drive to the hiking starting point, hike mount morungole and visit the small group of the Ik people. You might think they are the same as the karimajong but they are different in many ways, so the hike is worth it. They also have a great culture to know about. Return to the camp have dinner and spend the night.
Day 4: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast at the camp, checkout and set out to Murchison falls national park through Kaabong-Kitgum-Gulu-Nakasongola route. There will be a lunch enroute in Gulu and then proceed with the journey. Check in at red chilli rest camp, have dinner and spend the night.
Day 5: Game drive in Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up early at around 6:00 am then set out for the game drive where you will expect to see animals like lions, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, among others which are all exciting to see. Return to the camp, have lunch and relax. You may choose to go for and evening game drive. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 6: Boat Cruise and Transfer to the Top of the Falls
Breakfast at the camp then at 9:00 am, start the boat cruise which will last around 3 hours and it would be a good idea to have some packed snacks. You will be able to spot various water birds like African jacana, African fish eagle, pied kingfishers, Pelicans among others. And you will also see the Murchison falls. At the end of the boat trip, you will take a 30 minutes hike to the top of the falls where you will have a close look of the magnificent Murchison Falls which is a great spot for taking photos. Return to the camp for lunch and relax. Dinner ad overnight as above.
Day 7: Drive to Kibale National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge, check out then drive to kibale forest national park a journey that will take around 6-7 hours. Reach the park; check in at primate lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National park
Have breakfast at the lodge then at 7:00 am head to the forest for chimpanzee tracking. This might take you around 4 hours or more depending on where the chimpanzees are located. When you meet them, you will spend an hour with them through taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After the chimpanzee tracking experience, you will transfer back to the lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 9: Departure to Kampala
Wake up in the morning have breakfast then prepare your luggage to transfer on your journey back to Kampala/ Entebbe to boar your flight back home.
