In Uganda it is done at Murchison Falls National Park along the banks of River Nile using a boat and the fish species you will spot include cat fish, small fish which are used as decoy to catch big fish like the Nile Perch which is found in the turbulent fresh waters under the falls and this weighs about 3 kgs. It is also done at Mt. Elgon on Sipi falls, Queen Elizabeth National park, Semuliki National Park, Lake Mburo National park at Mazinga site with six species of fish i.e lung fish, mud fish, tilapia, haplocromes etc and one must have a fishing permit before carrying out this activity. In Rwanda, this is carried out at Akagera National Park on prior request and the most fish species caught here is the Tilapia.
