Qn; What is the best time to visit Uganda?

Ans; Visit the country any time in the year as according to what you want to do and experience in the country. There are two seasons that take place in the country i.e the rainy and dry season. The rainy season occurs in the months of March-May, September, November, and December where as the dry season takes on the other months. Generally, it is according to one’s desires and reasons as to why they are visiting the country.

Qn. Do I have to look into my health status before travelling?

Ans. When planning to travel, make it a point to go for mandatory tests on everything so as to travel comfortably and conveniently. Get immunized against diseases like Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio as well as Malaria.

Qn; what should I wear while on Safari?

Ans; One should wear clothes as according to what they are going to do on a safari. For example, if one is interested in Gorilla and chimpanzee tracking in the three countries i.e Uganda, Rwanda and Congo, they are advised to carry simple light clothes during the hot days,  good hiking boots, sun hat, sweat band & gloves, rain gear, long sleeve shirt, body cream and sun glasses, swim suits, camera without flash photography, jacket/ sweater etc. These will make your adventure worthwhile throughout.

Ans; Attaining a visa varies according to what country you are going to. All you need to have is a valid passport with about 6 months ahead. This can be attained through a trusted representative like a tour operator but then if you don’t have one, you can attain these at the airports. These will provide you access into these countries so as to carry out what you really want.

Ans; This depends on the type of activity one is interested in. For example children with 12 years and above are accepted to do activities like Gorilla trekking and chimpanzee tracking.

Ans; Yes, one should be sure and conscious about their health before doing activities like Gorilla trekking because when one is suffering from diseases/ illnesses like influenza, diarrhea, cough they won’t be allowed to track due to the fact that these primates are liable to being infected by human diseases.

Qn; How do I access the hotel on arrival at the airport?

Ans; Usually, a company representative will pick you up to transfer you to the hotel. His prior responsibility is to ensure you comfortably reach wherever you are going safely and has to help you with the check in requirements at the hotel.
