Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Mgahinga National Park

On arrival at the Kigali International Airport, you are picked up by our tour driver/ representative who transfers you on City Tour around Kigali City exploring the various Genocide Memorials, National Museums. After the visit, proceed on your journey to Mgahinga National Park located South West of Uganda and upon arrival, proceed to check-in your lodge/ hotel for Relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger guide per Group, transfer into the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. Dinner and Overnight at Ikoro Lodge.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and Departure

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Mgahinga National park to track the stunning Golden Monkeys in their natural forest vegetation habitat.

You will track these for a period of 3 hours along the various trails watching them jump and play in the tree branches.
