After your breakfast from your hotel meet our company representative and exchange greetings, thereafter transfer to Nyungwe forest with stopover at Rwanda genocide memorial to experience the massacre information of Rwandese who lost their lives. (Murambi genocide museum) Lunch en-route, and after transfer to the forest and have dinner and overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge/ Nyungwe hill top hotel/ Gisakura Guest house.
After breakfast meet at the park offices for briefing about the forest and the primates, thereafter enter into the forest searching for the chimpanzee in the branches of the trees and as you look for the chimps expect to spot other primates like the white and black Columbus, vervet monkeys, red tailed monkeys and variety of birds. After breakfast from your lodge embark your safari van and transfer back to lake Kivu with lunch en-route and upon your arrival at the shores of the Lake enjoy the sun bathing the white sand, enjoy the swimming, with time available take the boat ride visiting to the fishing villages. Dinner and overnight at Lake Kivu Serena hotel / paradise malahindi
Have breakfast and then embark the safari vehicle and transfer to volcanoes Gorilla Park, a home to the some of the mountain gorillas in the mist. The park has got so far now more gorilla families launched for tourism gorilla trekking and each family is visited by 8 clients per day. Experience village visit and visit the Ibyiwachu cultural village. They perform cultural dance and Kinyarwanda songs. Dinner and overnight at mountain gorilla view lodge / la bamboo gorilla lodge.
Have breakfast, thereafter continue to the park headquarters for briefing about the mountain gorillas in the mist and the park as well, after enter into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas and you meet them stay with them for about an hour while taking the unforgettable photographs and videos. Have your packed lunch, and then return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, meal plan: F/B
After breakfast, with our leisurely drive return to Kigali with visit to other museum, with lunch in Kigali and then after drive to Akagera wildlife national park an extension of Tanzanian plains where you can spot variety of wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs among others. Dinner and overnight at luzizi tented camp / Akagera game lodge.
Dawn game drive to look for early riser wildlife species and other wildlife like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, warthogs, water and bush backs, among others. Return to lodge for lunch and after in the evening prepare for boat ride along the Ihema Lake and over the cruise expect to spot various wildlife along the shores and birds as well. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, embark the safari vehicle and transfer back to Kigali with lunch en-route if time allows another stop to some local markets to shop souvenirs. The guide will drop you at the airport for flight back home.
