Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Gorilla Trek

We will pick you up at your hotel or the airport in our comfortable 4×4 Safari Jeep, and drive towards the Kigali International Airport, and takes through the various scenic geographical land forms between Rwanda and Uganda. Activities include the majestic Gorilla encounter in Uganda’s Bwindi Forest National Park to track the Mountain Gorillas. Dinner and overnight stay at your option of lodge. Chameleon Hill Lodge/Nkuringo gorilla Camp/Ruhija Gorilla Resort/Nshongi gorilla resort. Meal plan: H/B.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

In the morning, you will take an early breakfast at the lodge, and pack for a day in the park: water, jacket, camera, and a packed lunch. Hiking boots and attire strongly recommended. We then proceed to the Bwindi Park Headquarters at 8:00 am to check-in and learn about the various gorilla families. The hike can take hours round trip, plus spending a full hour in the presence of an earth shaking silverback gorilla and its family. What an unforgettable experience! Dinner and overnight at Heritage lodge/Bunyonyi Resort/Bunyonyi overland camp ((Same or different camp as Day 1?)). Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a journey of 2-4 hours). While on this adventure, you can expect to spot variety primates and birds, and of course scenic views of this hilly landscape. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight, dinner and overnight at Kisoro Traveler Rest Hotel. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Departure to Kigali

You will take breakfast at the hotel and then we will begin the drive back towards Kigali. We will take lunch en-route and also visit some of the Rwandan Genocide Memorial Sites where you can learn first-hand about this tragic time in Rwandan history. We will conclude this trip by taking you to the Kigali Airport or any other hotel arrangements you may have. Meal plan: H/B
